This photo was taken at Long Beach, Newfoundland, Canada. These cute little fellows - Semi Sandpipers - were "standing in formation" by the sea. I wish I could understand why :) ~

This reminds me of the days when the King had his bodyguards precede him when walking into to the great hall to the throne! "Anybody want to mess with the King...you gotta come thru us...understand?" The one in the middle of the three is particularly beefy!! Notice the King is special with his dark eye band and reddish top on his head? Great shot and I really like the soft look of it all and the aqua tint to the stones.
