Description
This photo was taken at Cape Spear, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is the easternmost point in Canada and North America.
The lighthouse there has operated since September 1836. It is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland and the location has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada. A new concrete building was built to house the light in 1955. The original lighthouse building and the light keeper's residence have since been restored to the period of 1839. (Source: Wikipedia)
It was a sunny day and the ocean was very calm (which was rare for Cape Spear).

Love the composition with the board walk centered on its route to the sea. v/

Thank you very much Pamela! Those are the wide stairs towards the sea - it is wonderful feeling walking there :)!
